Where marketing meets UX
My path into design began with business, clients and digital marketing. I spent the first years of my career helping brands communicate clearly through marketing, copywriting and digital campaigns. I worked closely with clients, shaped messaging strategies and coordinated projects across teams. That shift deepened during one project at a marketing agency, where UX of the website was the main focus of the project and it was the first time I worked more closely with a UX Designer.
The subject of UX Design and career change grew in me over the following months until late 2023 - I made the decision to pivot fully into UX. Since then, I enrolled in Google’s UX Design Certificate, followed by a UI course from Karol Stefański (Kółko Projektowe) and began building my first portfolio. I spent months learning and iterating. I explored Figma, content architecture, usability principles and user psychology. That mindset of growth and curiosity still drives me today
In the meantime, I decided to follow my passion and moved to Tenerife, where I worked as a surfing and kitesurfing instructor — continuing to teach during the summer in Poland. That's how I connected learning about UX Design, making career change and fulfilling a dream at the same time. Spending hundreds of hours with people from all over the world taught me how to observe better, communicate clearly, ask the right questions and adapt to changing situations in real time. That experience now shapes how I approach UX: by listening first, understanding context, and staying focused on what actually helps.
